The Journey Beyond a Decade Campaign
Your support is needed as SigEp mounts the Journey Beyond a Decade campaign. Already, our brothers have contributed $7,910 to kick off the chapter's campaign. But in order to reach our goal of $25,000 by 2013, each brother must step up to support our young chapter. Gifts can be spread out over three years between now and 2013.Where the Money Goes
Gifts to the campaign will be used to improve California Beta Beta by encouraging the academic abilities of our undergraduates. A successful campaign will result in funds for:
- Balanced Man Scholarships for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors
- Recruitment efforts that will attract brothers of the highest quality to SigEp
- Relevant educational programming throughout the year, including: Edge, Carlson Leadership Academy, Ruck Leadership Institute, and Conclave
Who Are We Supporting?
Our undergraduates have proven themselves worthy of our efforts. At SigEp's National Conclave in August, Cal Beta Beta was awarded the prestigious Buchanan Cup for outstanding chapter performance. This is the first time our chapter has won the Cup and marks the exceptional efforts of our undergraduates. Time to Make a Decision
It is crucial that we meet our campaign's objectives to keep our undergraduates competitive both on the USD campus and as future alumni. Bringing in members who will develop the Fraternity is essential to the chapter's success and longevity.
As a young chapter, the gift of each brother makes a significant difference. When I helped start the chapter in 1998, we aimed to be the best student organization on campus and dreamed that one day we could return to a mature chapter, with a diverse brotherhood of individuals who live our cardinal principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love daily. I couldn't be prouder of our success.
In honor of our founding in 2001, consider making a one-time gift of $20.01 or step up to the plate and pledge $20.01 each month. As a young alumnus, I believe giving back is part of our culture and this campaign will have a positive impact on future alumni, which is why I gave $2,500 to kick off this effort!
